The length of time that deals are available varies. Please check the individual deal's description. Many deals are available only in a limited quantity, and once sold out it's too late so you do want to act fast!

6. When do deals expire?
The length of time that a particular promotion expires varies. Please check the individual deal's description and restrictions. The promotional value's expiration date is listed under "restrictions", otherwise the paid value of the deal - what price the certificate was purchased for - expires with the merchant five (5) years after purchase. If you purchased your dealsaver in California, Florida or Washington, your dealsaver certificate does not expire but the promotional period still does as specified on the certificate. If the promotion period or promotional value expired, the merchant will still honor it for its paid value towards similar or other goods or services.

9. I have a dealsaver promo or credit code. How do I apply it to my account?
You must first be signed in to the site. Click Account in the top right of the page and then click on My Credits. Enter your code in the space provided. Note you must enter your code exactly as it was given to you. Letters within the codes are case-sensitive. Some promotional codes are time-limited and are entered only at time of checkout rather than deposited to account - once on the checkout page where payment information is requested, click the Add Promo Code button that appears under your Shopping Cart's contents. Be sure your order meets the promo code's rules to get the discount.

10. I'm trying to add a deal to my cart, but I can't adjust gift recipient information or see an "incompatible item" error message?
Gift purchases of a given deal can be made to only a single individual in any order. If you're purchasing a deal for yourself and gifting to one or more friends or family, please process separate orders for each recipient. As some deals have multiple attributes such as size or custom messages, separate orders helps ensure the accuracy of your gifts to the recipients.

"Incompatible Item" errors may occur when attempting to add a local deal with a deal presented by one of our network deal partners (network deals are those listed as being "presented by" when viewing the deal on the category or all deals page), or vice-versa. We recommend placing a separate order for the deal being added to cart.

11. How do I redeem a deal I purchased?
There are three ways:
1. Print out your deal Certificate (available via the My Purchases link under the Account when you are logged in) and show your Certificate to the merchant.
2. Go to dealsaver on your mobile phone, log in to the site, click on My Purchases link under the Account and show your phone to the merchant.
3. Present your dealsaver certificate from your mobile phone via the free dealsaver app, now available for Apple iOS and Google Android devices. Please visit our dealsaver app page the next time you visit iTunes or the Google Play stores for the free download.

Remember, good dealsaver customers tip on the full amount of the bill before the deal Certificate is applied.

12. I accidentally marked a deal as redeemed. What do I do?
Please contact us. Please include your order ID and Certificate ID in your communication.

13. What if I can't print out my Certificate?
You can access your Certificate(s) from the attachment(s) or links within of your order confirmation email, or by logging into your account at dealsaver.com and reviewing the My Purchases area for links to your certificates. You can also contact us and request a .pdf of your dealsaver certificate(s) emailed to you. Please include your order ID and Certificate ID in your communication.

14. Can I request a refund or credit for for unused Certificates?
Yes. Log in into dealsaver and from the Account menu go to My Purchases and click the deal/offer title to review for any refund restrictions on the deal and follow any refund instructions, if any. Some deals from our network partners may have special instructions for refunds, please read the deal's details and its restrictions carefully prior to purchase. For most local dealsaver certificates, unless specified otherwise in the deal or on the certificate, you can get a full refund or dealsaver credit from dealsaver within 7 days of purchase; please allow an extra day or two to process with the merchant before seeing the credit to your dealsaver account or credit card. If your purchase was more than 7 days ago, please contact the merchant directly regarding their refund or return policies. Most state laws allow for merchants to provide goods and services equivalent to paid value rather a cash refund for certificates if the stated promotional value and period has expired. If the Certificate is a deal denoted as an Event-Related Certificate, such as a concert, theatre, travel, etc. there are no refunds after the event occurs. Please see our Terms of Service for additional information regarding Event-Related deals. We stand behind the deals our merchants offer, should a merchant go out of business prior to the deal's promotional expiration date, you can receive credit for the paid value of your deal Certificate for a future deal on dealsaver.com. To request credit, Please contact us prior to the promotional expiration on your Certificate.

16. How does the "Get Yours Free" promotion work?
After purchasing certain deals, there may be a "Get Yours Free" type promotion that will appear once checkout has completed. If a deal you purchase features this promotion, you'll be given a unique referral link to share with friends. You can post your link anywhere you like - Twitter, Facebook, on your blog, in an email, etc. When the specified number (usually 3) of your friends buy the same deal by clicking on your referral link, you'll get the deal you purchased for free! Note: If you purchased more than one deal, you'll only get one for free. The referral link only works for friends that do not live in the same household as you. Sharing the link with someone that lives in the same household is not considered a referral. We are not responsible if your friend does not properly complete their purchase from your referral link. You can review promotional details around the deals you have purchased once logged into dealsaver under Account and My Credits menu in the top right of the page.

17. How does the "Refer a friend, get $10 in deal bucks" promotion work?
When this promotion is active, you'll be provided with a unique referral link reserved just for you when you click on the banner or link to the promotion. Only registered users can get deal bucks, please login or register for your free dealsaver account if you have not done so already! Then, share this referral link with all your friends. If one of your friends then signs up and registers for dealsaver via your unique referral link and they make their first purchase on within 90 days of their registration, you'll earn $10 in deal bucks. Your friend needs to be a new sign-up on your local dealsaver site like you and not a member of your household, or it won't count. It's that easy and there is no limit to the amount of deal bucks that you can earn! You can then apply the deal bucks you've earned on future purchases. Important, if you've signed up for dealsaver in more than one city, your login and referral code is unique to each city's dealsaver site, so your bucks can only be used on the dealsaver city's site that awarded you the bucks. Deal bucks will expire 365 days after they are earned, so use them fast!
